If you’re looking for something to do on Sundays, looks like you’ll soon be able to head to the library. The Mayor has announced a plan to make sure all 100 libraries across Toronto are “finally open 7 days a week year-round”.
Still worried about COVID?
Well, you can get the new COVID-19 shot as of today.
Not enough students
Seneca says it’s temporarily shutting its Markham campus because of a drop in foreign students. The closure will start at the end of this term and students will be moved to other campuses.
Time change tips
The clocks fall back an hour this coming weekend. This News Rooster finds it easier to gain an hour in the fall than lose one in the spring, but the change can still be disruptive. Here are some tips for dealing with the end of daylight savings time.

Luxury slowdown
Seems there’s a big drop in sales of luxury items around the world. Luxury goods company LVMH (Louis Vuitton, Dior, Fendi) says fashion and leather sales were down 5% in the last quarter compared to a year ago. Wine and spirits down 7%. In Asia, sales were down a whopping 16%. Experts say it could be a sign that economic uncertainty is starting to have an impact on top-level consumers now.
We’re AA+!
Despite recent financial challenges faced by the City of Toronto, a big global credit rating agency, S&P Global, has just raised the city’s credit rating from AA to AA+. That’s the first increase in 23 years. The city’s long-term financial plan and a new funding deal with the province are credited for the move.

Your pup is wide awake with worry
Seems dogs loose sleep over stress, just like their owners. A study in The Royal Society scientific journal tested the sleep of dogs who were exposed to positive things (i.e. owner affection) or negative things (i.e. approached by a stranger) just before bedtime, and the ones who were stressed had a worse sleep.
